Trail Conditions:
The trail is a fire road the whole way to the top then becomes a trail on your way back down to the parking area. I trail is in excellent condition, no trash, plenty of benches along the trail and signs so it is very hard to get lost!

Trail Directions:
From the parking lot head up the paved road along the side of a large field in front of the Rogers home. Soon there will be what looks like a small house to your right continue around to the other side of the building where there is a signed trailhead. Follow the dirt road as it winds around the mountain up and out of the canyon. Continue along this dirt road for a while till you reach junction with a large map of the area and three trails leading off. The one to the left is a short cut trail to Inspiration Point, the one next to that; the middle trail will take you to Inspiration Point. The third trail all the way to the right goes off in another direction. Take one of the two trail leading to the top and in a few minutes you will be there! Once you have rested and taken in the views, head back the way you came or take the trail on the other side of Inspiration point down into the canyon, giving you some much needed shade on the hotter days. Take this trail for a short distance back down to the parking area.
