Eaton Canyon Falls

 WATERFALL WARNING!
Hiking above the waterfall is not recommended. You should be aware that by trying to climb to the top of the waterfall, you are literally putting your life at risk. Many hikers attempting to climb above the falls and reach the upper “razorback trail” have been seriously injured, and fatalities occur all too frequently. On average, hikers are rescued weekly from this area.  Remember that this is a rugged natural area.  Services and aid are not readily available, and there is no trail leading up to the top of the waterfall.

Don't go off the trail and DON'T try to get to the top of the falls and you will probably live to hike another trail. This trail is very easy, relatively flat most of the way. You have to cross the stream a bunch and towards the end of the trail near the falls you are required to climb over some boulders. Take your time and pay attention to what you are doing.

Trail Direction:
WATERFALL WARNING!
Hiking to and above the first waterfall is not recommended.

If you are able to park at the furthest end of the parking lot near the trailhead do so, this area does get very busy on weekends so make sure to come early. Once you park walk past the gate into an open area with several trails leading off into the forest. After a few minutes of confusion because there are no signs to tell what trails go where. We took the middle trail (second one in from the right) follow this trail past a covered lunch table. The trail is very easy to follow with out getting lost or wondering off on other trails.  We crossed the stream a total of 9 times and once you are on the trail there were a few signs pointing us in the right direction. once at the bridge make sure to follow the trail that goes under it not up and over. After the bridge just continue to follow the trail, its well marked until you get to the rocks but they are very near the falls and you cant miss it.

Jessie's Thoughts:
I thought this trail was very fun and a great trail for the family. Once at the falls I found that this spot is popular among teens who have no self control or a brain and tag everything and actually walked past a guy who had the nerve to smoke pot out in the open with children around AT THE FALLS!
