Compound Double Coin Knot

The double coin knot also known as the sailors' Carrick-bend, the Macrame artists' Josephine Knot, the Basket weave Knot, or the Flat Lanyard. Whatever you may call it I call it challenging. I found myself having to start  over multiple times before eventually succeeding.

The Celtic button knot is a relatively simple decorative knot to tie. It looks a lot like the lanyard knot, but is tied with a single working end. Most button knots are used for clothing decorations and jewelry but are also used as finishing knots to hide the ends of cords. The fallowing is a how to videos on making these knots ENJOY!
